I have been having major compile errors on Windows XP using the portable zip.

When I start enigma.exe, I get a CMD window.  When LGM opens, it goes back to the prompt, where you can do any command on the system.  Above this, was

org.lateralgm.file.GmFormatExecption: java.io.FileNotFoundException: Compilers\windows\gcc.ey (the system cannot find the path specified)

I am new to Enigma, although I have been watching it over the last few years.

This error is really disappointing, because I am entering the game in a competition tomorrow.    :(

I have attached the EGM in case any of you can compile it to exe.  It's too big, get it here http://is.gd/p5JV02.

Thanks for all of your help.  You guys are awesome!

So, I updated the portable zip, and got a new error.

You can view this here: http://pastebin.com/6ZASy76a.

I have no clue what any of these errors mean. :(

Wow, that's a new one. Normally my response would be "Blame Sun Microsystems," but due to circumstances beyond our control, that isn't presently an option. I'm going to blame Oracle instead. In all seriousness, I'm thinking this is a JNA problem. Could you make sure you have the latest JNA binaries? We may need to create a test program so users can make sure their JNA can perform simple tasks.

DaveDude, open settings.ini, and change the following line.
Code: (INI) [Select]
idecommand="java -jar -Xms256m -Xmx1000m"Change it to the following.
Code: (INI) [Select]
idecommand="java -jar"
I changed the default Portable ZIP to launch LGM allowing it to have a larger heap size by default, since I figured most computers should have a minimum 256mb.
