I have him on MSN right now.  He says he's waiting for an updated LGM .jar from IsmAvatar.

11.75 hours?  Why the hell do you convert hours which are based off multiples of 60 into decimal which is based off multiples of ten?

And now I'm awaiting a news post either releasing ENIGMA or telling us it's delayed.

6 Hours?  I's 9 for me.  You must reside in the United Kingdom of Britland.

When exactly will it be released?  The video said "8.8.08", and, well... it's the release date.  Gimme ENIGMA NAO.

If you want, I could just edit my avatar and give you all the ENIGMA logo part.

Although avatars on this forum really should be 80x80 as opposed to 64x64.

General ENIGMA / Re: Collision system in R3?

=D

So I can compile my game in ENIGMA now! =D

Although it kind of depends on if ENIGMA will have instance activating/deactivating functions.

Off-Topic / Re: Game Maker 7 VS ENIGMA Test 1: The Blank Room Test

Yeah, but that won't be true for R3, which comes out tomorrow.

Really, stop with the "ENIGMA vs. Game Maker" stuff.  It's better in almost every way, and you don't need to test every single way to see just how much better it is.

Proposals / Re: io_handle() and io_clear()
« on: August 05, 2008, 12:13:23 PM »
No, io_clear() clears the status of all keyboard and mouse keys.
io_handle() re-checks the status of the keyboard and mouse keys.

It wasn't that they didn't know what they did, it was that they thought that they were worthless functions and didn't understand why they were there.

And even better, the release date is in six days.

That built-in game editor is awesome.  Now I don't have to spend time measuring things like max jump height, etc.

Quote
place_free(x,y)
place_meeting(x,y,object)
move_contact_solid(direction,maxdistance)
Not currently possible without the collision functions.

Quote
instance_change(object,perform)
Code: [Select]
instance_destroy();
instance_create(x,y,object);
Best bet right there.

Quote
sound_play(sound)
sound_isplaying(sound)
Also not possible because it is part of the resource structure.

Quote
instance_deactivate_object(object)
instance_activate_region(x,y,width,height,inside)
instance_deactivate_region(x,y,width,height,inside,notme)
instance_activate_object(object)
Not currently possible, again.

Quote
room_restart()
Your best bet would be:
Code: [Select]
room_goto(room);
Quote
with (object) {...}
I believe that is already implemented.

Quote
game_restart()
Doesn't reset variables, but:
Code: [Select]
room_goto(1);
Quote
draw_set_halign(halign)
draw_set_valign(valign)
draw_text(x,y,string)
string_width(string)
Not currently possible, yet again.

Quote
string(string)
Already implemented.

Quote
hspeed
vspeed
gravity
gravity_direction
Make your own if they aren't already there.

Quote
sprite_height
sprite_width
sprite_index
room_speed
room_height
Implemented, I believe.

Quote
lives
score
alarm
show_score
show_lives
Do you really need ENIGMA to make these for you?

Quote
other
global
I believe so.

Quote
view_object
ystart
x
y
view_xview
view_yview
Believe so.

Proposals / Re: Compiler isn't working
« on: July 31, 2008, 07:16:29 PM »
But when I try to compile the sources of games compiled in ENIGMA, it doesn't work.  So the above post is false.  I also happen to be running Windows 2000, but that shouldn't be an issue.

So, when will this be done?
