EDC died accidentally. All the source is gone. By the way, I'm writing a bugtracking script.

You're saying you're going to try and make this possible?
Code: [Select]
execute_string("var asdf"+zxcvbnm+"ghjkl;");

This may help.

http://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki/Valve_Time

It's a joke because Valve never release anything at the stated time. a2h borrowed the joke; I don't think he intended to suggest it'll be related to Steam at all. I'm guessing EDC will be done when i) they've coded it fully and ii) ENIGMA is ready for the world to see.
This.

Try not to depend on execute_string.

Think; how do professional programmers do things that could be done easily with execute_string?

Have you thought about the security complications of such things?

And the filesize that makes Game Maker bad for what it is as well?

[Josh is IP banned from everything owned by this host including its support site. This post is done on his behalf]
Actually hooking up all the wonderful things I've coded, for starters.
Expression parser, when finished, plugs into CFile parser. That plugs into syntax checker and parser. Those plug into compiler. That plugs into LGM with new syntax functionality. Then there's that new instance system that's waiting for ENIGMA to be ready to compile again to be added. And text file function that have been done for months now that I haven't added in. It's come down to tying up loose ends. And there's a lot of them.
