I played this, the .exe and the .gm6. I experienced no difference between the two. My comp specs are at this site:

But I have a different sound card now (not that it matters) and my graphics card is a 256mb Radeon 9200? Or 9600, I don't remember.

i had pentium 4 2.8GHz processor (shit), and it ran unbelievably slow on mine. hopefully that problem will fix it
