Issues Help Desk / Re: collision_rectangle
« on: October 19, 2008, 01:08:58 AM »
I will just write this in sudo-code:
if x >= rectx1 && y >=recty1 && x <= rectx2 && y <=recty2
    //collision is true
else
    //collision is false

Also, this will only work for one point. I can make it do two rectangles if you want.

When there is a new topic the forum category title changes... Not sure if this is a feature or a bug.

All I get when making a blank room is a 640 by 480 window with a blue background...Even though I made the room 320 by 240 with an orange background.

ENIGMA uses the GCC compiler. And it works and is extremely usable...

And for two 3D points (I didn't define the types because I am not sure what you use):
Code: [Select]
d3d_point_distance(x1,y1,z1,x2,y2,z2) {
    return sqrt(sqr(x1-x2)+sqr(y1-y2)+sqr(z1-z2));
}

ENIGMA was never made in Java... The interface, LGM, was made in Java.
