Hello guys, I am wondering if someone can help translate the following messages for me. EventPanel.VIEWS=Views Event.EVENT7_30 = Close Button Event.EVENT7_40 = Outside View {0} Event.EVENT7_50 = Boundary View {0} Event.EVENT7_10 = User Defined {0}
Listener.INPUT_FINDRES=Resource name: Listener.INPUT_FINDRES_TITLE=Find Resource Listener.INPUT_FINDRES_NOTFOUND=Could not find resource "{0}" Listener.INPUT_FINDRES_NOTFOUND_TITLE=Resource Not Found
GameSettingFrame.KEY_CLOSEBUTTON=Treat the close button as <ESC> key
GameSettingFrame.TITLE_VERSION=Version Information GameSettingFrame.MAJOR=Major: GameSettingFrame.MINOR=Minor: GameSettingFrame.RELEASE=Release: GameSettingFrame.BUILD=Build: GameSettingFrame.COMPANY=Company: GameSettingFrame.PRODUCT=Product: GameSettingFrame.COPYRIGHT=Copyright: GameSettingFrame.DESCRIPTION=Description:
I need these messages translated for _tr_TR _da_DK and _fr, which I believe is Turkish, Denmark Danish, and French respectively. It would be really appreciated.

I think it was Leonardo da Vinci who once said something along the lines of "If you build the robots, they will make games." or something to that effect.

Muchos gracias senor egofree! Tu son un muy bien amigo. I took Spanish in high school and I am taking it this semester. I believe when it's just _fr that means international/standard French?
Either way, I am going to include them, thank you so much! Only _da_DK and _tr_TR is needed now.

Thanks, I actually missed one, we decided to change the default title for it. Ignore my message earlier, "Print..." was actually already translated in all 3 bundles. Listener.INPUT_FINDRES_NOTFOUND_TITLE=Resource Not Found

Thanks. Can I ask you whether that is the same capitalization?
For example "Ressource non trouvée" does not capitalize the middle and last word where "Resource Not Found" does. Is it weird to capitalize each of the words for the title in French? Or were you assuming I would capitalize them?
If they can be capitalized like the English version, how would you capitalize "Trouver la ressource" would you capitalize all 3 words or just the first and third one?
I have the same question about the events too because "Outside View" becomes "Vue externe" instead of "View Externe"
Also, while I'm on the subject. Just out of curiosity, how do you speak/write English when your keyboard layout is (I assume) French? Wouldn't it have a different layout than QWERTY? I am just curious is all.

It's not different in french. I didn't pay attention it had capital letters in the middle. It's as you want. Also, while I'm on the subject. Yes there is a different layout. In France, it's Azerty. As i live in Switzerland where we have officially four languages, we have the quertz layout ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/QWERTZ), with additional keys for french and german accents : ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/QWERTZ#/media/File:KB_Swiss.svg) Anyway it's not big deal to write in english, as the special letters are on the edge. In the middle of the keyboard you have the standard and international letters.

As you want to know more about culture and national traditions, let's have some fun , and let's listen to Alps horn (It's not the best sound quality, but it's hard to find good quality on youtube) : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hw-_vJvAGlkIn the background, between the clouds, you can see a little bit of the 'Matterhorn', a very famous Swiss mountain, very well known for it's triangle shape. Alps horn are used sometimes by farmers in the Alps mountains, especially in Switzerland, but not only. Nowadays it's part of the swiss folklore, but i heard that before it was used sometimes to communicate. ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alphorn)

The folklore might not be that far fetched, it reminds me of A Bug's Life when they blow through the snail shells as horns. What is the song they are playing, maybe the national anthem? Believe it or not, my grandparents (dad's parents) were actually first generation immigrants to America. I think my mother's family has a few Swedish members way back, but that side of mi familia is mainly Irish and German. So these are the same then? I just make sure I understand and it's consistent. EventPanel.VIEWS=Views Event.EVENT7_30 = Close Button Event.EVENT7_40 = Outside View {0} Event.EVENT7_50 = Boundary View {0} Event.EVENT7_10 = User Defined {0}
Listener.INPUT_FINDRES=Resource name: Listener.INPUT_FINDRES_TITLE=Find Resource Listener.INPUT_FINDRES_NOTFOUND=Could not find resource "{0}" Listener.INPUT_FINDRES_NOTFOUND_TITLE=Resource Not Found
EventPanel.VIEWS=Vues Event.EVENT7_30 = Bouton Fermer Event.EVENT7_40 = Vue Externe {0} Event.EVENT7_50 = Vue Bordure {0} Event.EVENT7_10 = Défini Par L'utilisateur {0} <- this one?
Listener.INPUT_FINDRES=Nom de la ressource: Listener.INPUT_FINDRES_TITLE=Trouver La Ressource <- and this one? Listener.INPUT_FINDRES_NOTFOUND=Impossible de trouver la ressource "{0}" Listener.INPUT_FINDRES_NOTFOUND_TITLE=Ressource Non Trouvée <- and this one too?

Would you say it's not shocking with the English translation though? You see in GM8.1 it says "Find a Resource" for example, usually it's ok to capitalize significant words in a title/caption with English. Are you surprised/shocked to see it capitalized in GameMaker? The best idea here is just to do what is consistent, but if it's not appropriate to French, I don't want to do it.
Also, is de la the same as it is in Spanish, "of the"?
