I want to finish first the undo feature, but after that i would like to add a simple but useful feature : make the views visible in the rooms editor. White rectangles for visible views, as in GM studio, seem relevant to me. But i would like also to write the view number inside the rectangle (e.g 'view 0', 'view 1', etc). If a view is selected in the list, the viewport of the room should be changed in order to display it, so we don't have to go everywhere in the room to see where the view is. Finally, it would be cool to create the views with the mouse : with a drag and drop, let's create a view !

Isn't there already an option for that under the Show menu? You can toggle visibility of objects, tiles, backgrounds, and views there. They're disabled by default because they're quite ugly and not actually going to show up in-game.

As far as i can see, i don't think they are already implemented. If you enable the views option in the show menu, and try to play with views (making visible or not), you will never see any preview of views in the rooms editor.

Indeed; as far as I can tell, they aren't drawing when enabled, anymore. That is something that needs fixed.

I've finished to develop the basic features. More or less, for the moment, it's very similar to GM Studio : The view is displayed with a 'black and white' rectangle. When ever you modify its size or position with text fields, you see immediately the result on the right panel. If you want to see views, the 'show views' option must be set in the room options, and in the views tab the option' Enable the use of views' must be set. Also the view must be visible. The aspect of the view looks ok, but i think it would me more pretty if we use a filled rectangle with a semi transparent color, instead of this 'black and white' rectangle. I would like to display in the center of the rectangle the view number. I don't know yet i will implement the creation of a view with a mouse.

Can I make some suggestions ?
Of course. I like the use of the rectangle outline, and the semi transparent one too, however, could you make it optional and allow users to disable it and use the rectangle outline only?
Why not. Also for following objects, you could use a dotted line or line at the following coordinates.
I am not sure of what you are asking. Do you mean just a view with special border ? Or two rectangles ? One for the view which follows the object and another for the other one ?

I agree with you there, by default it should be off.
You don't I said by default it's off, and i think it would be useful if by default it would be on. My concern is that i am not sure a lot of people know this option, and they will never see views in the rooms editor. Another solution is GM Studio : by default it's off, but when you click on Views tab, it displays the views. That would be fine too.
