You should do an HTML5 exporter. It should only take a week or two because you are all geeks who have no life outside of the computer.

Oh, no, C++ is still the source of all power in the universe. It's just nice that C++ can be used to grant some of its might and power to JavaScript through engines such as V8 and Rhino.
Anyway, I've already started a JS/HTML5 exporter. I haven't touched it in a while, but I'll probably revisit it shortly. TGMG forked it and started adding functions, you see, and I haven't gotten back into it since I merged in his fork.

And the JVM is made of non-C++ metaphysical goo, right?

Nah, JavaScript already has plenty of wrappers to the C++ map structures.

You know you don't HAVE to use C++, right? Sure, processors can only execute machine code but C++ is not the only AOT compiled language in the world. Also, in V8, JS is compiled directly to machine code, not C++. C++ is merely the compiler. Old JS interpreters written in C++ were incredibly slow.
But, anyway, does any of this matter? Let's just say - there's HTML and JS, which at some point are run on top of computer processors, and an ongoing ENIGMA project to compile GML to HTML+JS.
