Are you making that filled rectangle fixed colour? What if the background colour happens to be the same colour ?
If the user has bought the premium version of ENIGMA (Profits: 50% for me and 50% for Robert if one day he accepts my pull request) , he would have the option to choose the color. More seriously, i was thinking to give the option to select colors : if no color is chosen for the filled rectangle, no filled rectangles would be displayed and it would use the colors of the outlines. But for the first version, i think we would have only the outlines.

Let me check, yep, I have the ENIGMA Masters edition, so I'm covered for Robert if one day he accepts my pull request)
Before Christmas for sHure ...... No actually Robert is not the only one, any collaborator with write access can merge...... just give them the green light and wait for it to be merged. , it would have the option to choose the color.
Even better it would determine the colour automatically, that should not be hard to do More seriously, i was thinking to give the option to select colors :
Or display a different outline and fill colour for each separate view, so if you have for example 3 views, all 3 rectangle areas have distinct colours ! This is the behaviour of GM Studio
Yeah that might be ENIGMA's downfall one day......

BTW, why the enigma.jar I thought you made changes only to LGM, shouldn't only the LGM jar be sufficient ?
Answer here : http://enigma-dev.org/forums/index.php?topic=2080.0The egm files are managed in the Lgm Plugin, and i did a very small modification in the Tile class. So when tiles are loaded in a egm file, i need to update also the methods who set the positions of tiles.

Ok I tested - works. BTW I thought there already was an undo / redo before in the room editor... Nice each view has its rectangle really nice, TKG will be happy also. But where is the filled rectangle ?
I said in a previous message that for the first release there will be only the 'outlines' version. Also under the "show" tab when you uncheck view, the view rectangle is still there, not talking about the view is visible, but the show view under show tab. Is this normal ?
As i said in a previous message this is the same behavior as in GM Studio : if you are in the 'Views' tab, it will not take into account the 'Show views', and display always the views (Except if the views are not enabled or the view is not visible).

I'm not sure 100% I said I thought, maybe I'm wrong, one would have to rollback on LGM and see if it was there, maybe I was confusing with something else. I know there is an undo/redo in the event code editor in objects........ in room editor I believe there was but not sure on that.....

Let's see what it looks like with inverted blending.

I think it was Leonardo da Vinci who once said something along the lines of "If you build the robots, they will make games." or something to that effect.

What I mean by following, you know when you set the H and V for following, you could set another marker at that position, showing that if the following object hits that boundary the view will scroll, it could be just a tiny marker at H/V position or a dotted line.
I think it's a good idea and i will implement it. I will think also how to implement the 'filled rectangle.' But first i will do the following tasks: 1) Display the view in the correct position if it is following an object. 2) Change the view port when a view is selected. 3) Add the settings for the undo.
