General ENIGMA / Re: Flash, Java, and Html5 target exports for EGM

I use the HTML5 version. It gives you more features. Did you know you can play videos on 0.5, 1.5 and 2.0 speed on the HTML5 version? It's already superior!

Haha, DarkAceZ is also in Pennsylvania while Me and Josh are right next to PA (NYC and Ohio respectively). Very interesting coincidence how we're all somewhat close.
I would like to meet some people here myself, but I don't own a car. :p
Where in PA does your grandma live?

What exactly are "pretty printers"?

Just goes to show how Robert was justified in suggesting that you guys upgrade everything. When normal users are confused with something then things are inconsistent and/or impractical.
I've also filled a report to the tracker about how it takes long to send a PM.

Eh, I think all of these are horrendous. The first 3, I can't read what they say. The last 3 look like they say "NIGMA".

Sorry, didn't mean to be so offensive. But just because it might have a youtube app, it does not support Flash. Quote from the Nintendo website:
"The Nintendo DS Browser does not support Flash, animations, sound, video, PDFs, or any other files or programs that require a separate plug in, such as Java."
The PSP does support Flash, but the PSP is old. The PS Vita does not support Flash. Either way, future portable consoles will not support Flash since Adobe discontinued their Flash Mobile Player.

They updated the PS3 browser last year I believe to have more HTML5 features. What it's missing is the ability to use the controller as a gamepad. Not sure what exactly they added, but it improved their acid3 test rating. The PS Vita's browser would most likely be the same as the PS3. All of those devices aren't supported on Flash either anyway, so your argument is stupid.
HTML5 is the future, and I too use HTML5 with Youtube rather than Flash. The only reason I even have Flash installed is because I need it to do homework. Other than that, I see no reason for it.

Third Party / Re: Natural GM (Alternate Cross-Platform IDE made in C++ WIP)
« on: April 13, 2013, 09:10:32 am »
Yeah, this project is still very early in development. As I have said before, I'm currently rewriting everything. Everything needs to be flexible so we can add plugins, and Josh is helping me plan everything. Meanwhile, work on the serializer will begin soon, which will help add support for all GM projects and Enigma projects.
Also, with the executable that you linked, no one will be able to run it. You can need to distribute the Qt libraries with it too, and you can get rid of the .cpp files.

« on: April 12, 2013, 07:24:02 pm »I think gra, I can't remember now exactly how I setup QScintillaThere's an HTML readme inside QScintilla that shows the steps. Only 4 steps that you type directly into the terminal (but make sure the Qt environment is set, you need to use qmake).
When does the segfault happen for you, gra?

Try running it on Release Mode and see if you still have a segfault. It's usually caused by QScintilla. What happens is that for some reason QScintilla does not install a debug library unless you make one yourself.
I want to add that if you use the current repositories, make sure that in main.cpp, you should change the object creation of "NGMMainWindow" to "MainWindow". NGMMainWindow is a rewrite and does not work like the original MainWindow class did.
I am currently rewriting most of the project for better flexibility and faster compile times. I'll make a post as soon as the rewrite is finished. I don't recommend using the old classes because they had a few memory leaks. Meanwhile, Robert is working on adding support for loading APNG files.

Although I do think that Robert is a little immature sometimes, he does seem to do a lot of work for Enigma. I say we keep him and hope he finishes puberty soon.
