I would like to introduce myself. My name is ProtoLink and I heard about Enigma from someone else because I was interested in video game development. I have a little bit of experience using GM8, but I wanted to move to Enigma for various reasons.

I hope to be at least somewhat active here, as there is a LOT that I could learn from everyone.

Since this is the off-topic area, let me go ahead and explain the [Glyphic Enigma] tag in my name. Normally I wouldn't need to do this, but I know some people are going to be curious why it's there and/or what it's for, so let me explain it now. Glyphic Enigma is not only my Youtube Channel, but it's also my Club! I came up with the name before I heard about Enigma so the fact that the two names are similar is simply coincidence. If you are interested in joining the club, then you can contact me via email (which you *should* be able to find on my profile) regarding details and things. Please keep in mind, however, that if you do decide to do that, you should put the fact that you're from this forum in the subject bar of the email as I get a ton of junk mail and I wouldn't know the difference otherwise.

I hope to hear from some of you soon, and if you have any questions for me then please ask! I think that's about it for my introduction so I will talk to you all soon.

Greetings and welcome to the Forums. Took a peek at your Youtube channel and I must say, its very cool....especially the GemHunt series. Happy to have a fellow youtuber doing vids on creating games with ENIGMA.

LGM/Enigma is being re-designed at the moment as RGM (read the Announcements for more info), so further work has been put on hold for the moment. However you can still work with LGM to do your projects. A lot of the past issues have been fixed through the tireless and amazing work of the developers. Kudos to them. 


You can check out the Discord channel to talk directly with the devs, chat on various subjects as well as get help on matters. I am mostly here but I also go there to chat with everyone else.

I would record in higher resolutions, but my computer just doesnt have the power to do so (unfortunately). The setting for OBS is actually set to record in the highest resolution possible, but due to issues regarding my graphics card, it still seems like only 720p or worse. Then theres the issue with computing power as well. It definitely wouldnt be so bad if I had a tower to run everything on, but I only have a laptop.

Its great news that the program is being redesigned though. Dont get me wrong, I love it the way it is, but if the newer version fixes a bunch of issues this one has, then Im going for it lol.

Anyway, welcome to the forum and I hope you have fun here! Our community members are extremely helpful so don't ever be afraid to ask for help.
