Google it.

So, uh, whose going to buy a legal copy when it's out?

I'm not. Not anymore.

That's a really big disappointment.  It's not all that bad.  There are ways to host LAN games through battleNET, just not very convenient:

I still think it's worse that they've split the game's campaign into three parts all of which are full retail price. And there are rumours the new Battle.net will cost money too.

I'm just boycotting Activision altogether because of the CEO's actions. He put up the price of retail games in the UK to £55 (that's $91 USD) and has said he'd like to see prices even higher, he's dropped original games because, I quote, they can't be turned into yearly-installment $100m franchises, and because he doesn't take the Wii seriously (GH and CoD on Wii have been unreasonably* cut down despite great sales and it being the biggest platform by far).

*The Wii is more powerful than the original Xbox, has motion control and the ability to have 99% of the DLC and online features that the other two have. Neither GH nor CoD look better than PS2 titles on the Wii, they skip over Wii for DLC and don't make use of motion control. And the online is lacking.

They are splitting each campaign into separate disc in which you have to buy; separately? That sucks and the prices you say are more than likely going to make SC2 one the worst selling games because I'm not buying it.
