DOWNLOAD EXE+GMXOkay you won't see this in the project I provided because I removed it. But basically this shit you're doing to the viewport, Robert, is both needless and game breaking. If you add an object in the room with this as it's room start event code... view_wport=display_get_width() view_hport=display_get_height()
Normally that would work just fine even though I shouldn't have to do that anyway like I already don't need to in GMS. But anyfuckingway, since I have two views enabled this is just one more reason we shouldn't be using Robert's shit-tastic method for viewports but instead do it how GMS does so it will both fix compatibility issues and so it will actually make any fucking sense. Because I'm doing a two player game with two views enabled, I try doing this... view_wport[0]=display_get_width()/2 view_hport[0]=display_get_height()
view_wport[1]=display_get_width()/2 view_hport[1]=display_get_height()
// the second view should be on the right side of the screen view_xport[1]=display_get_width()/2
^Using this code in theory should've worked how I planned, even though if we didn't listen to Robert we wouldn't need any of this confusing, needless code and we'd do it how GMS does which is much less confusing. But I was wrong, the above code made the game even more unplayable in ENIGMA. The viewports aren't the only issue, when a player character collides which an object which should normally kill character and take a life, the character instead turns invisible spontaneously, the character's shadow is still visible however, and everything stops working completely. Please consider fixing these things, and by that I mean including the viewport system being plunged and unclogged how it should've been from the beginning. There are much better ways to handle dual monitors, we can achieve in a way that both makes sense, won't require more code for no reason, etc blah blah blah Fuck everyone and goodnight. Boobs

Who dat ? I heard my muddafuckin' name mentioned ! who be dissing dis G right heee....... Nobody be dissin Robert, he's a G too........you dig !?!? But before you dissed dis G I waz gonna agree with you, very few of us mofuckers use dual screen anyway and it should be optional. For reeel....... Though you should provide an example, I ran your EXE and it displayed fine. As far as not having to do dis code every time, I have plans to fix this soon, sorta, but they ares 3 pull request dat are not merged, 1 is corrupt, so it's hard to contribute shite unless some dawg gets the motion going you feel me ? Peace out !

I love you guys. We're a big fat happy family.
Edit.
the exe was compiled with GMS to show how it's supposed to look. The enigma compiling you guys can do on your own. It's so fucked up of an exe it's not worth putting in a zip or uploading. I used an icon converter Robby says was OK but the icon looks like fucking TV fiz.

I'd love to help but the source file you provided is corrupt and won't bloody load in LGM.......... Re-up the source please, save it in EGM format for me as I bloody hate these other gay formats LGM returns "this file is corrupt" loads messed up trees ..... BTW I have a fix planned that you will like, soon, though there are 3 pending merge requests, 1 is corrupt, so it is stalled right now, nobody can add more pull requests as it would have conflicts unless the stash is refreshed.......

I can't compile your game, I get the retarded motherfucking JAVA errors again: Stack trace: java.lang.Error: Invalid memory access at com.sun.jna.Native.invokeInt(Native Method) at com.sun.jna.Function.invoke(Function.java:383) at com.sun.jna.Function.invoke(Function.java:315) at com.sun.jna.Library$Handler.invoke(Library.java:212) at com.sun.proxy.$Proxy0.compileEGMf(Unknown Source) at org.enigma.EnigmaRunner$CompilerThread.run(EnigmaRunner.java:679)
Can't even compile your game ....... let alone run it. // ok there are many issues with ENIGMA preventing your game to be compiled properly, the 64 pt font you used in default2, there is currently an issue compiling with such sizes so I reduced it to 32. Also the collision thing is another issue not related to views.....Will take a look at this tomorrow. views are indeed messed up ..... Normally you would have no issues for a single view, but multiple views is where the issues lies. Ok looked at it, wow can't work with it at all. I personally don't port from GMS anymore, I would do everything from scratch in EGM, which would probably have worked minus the 2 views. Can't compile your game in DX9 at all also.

I don't think I sound like a gangster, I think I sound like a stressed person that's on the rag most of the time. I don't see how I talk like a gangster. That is about as gangster as I get. Anyway, do whatever you want then I don't care, but I never changed any of the viewport stuff it's always been broke like that since the beginning I only made a proposal that it should be gotten rid of all together and act like a normal view system that you would expect. That said, if you want to be like Studio, implement application_surface and scale that and remove the duplicate window, only problem is not everyone has OGL fbo support and Josh and Harri haven't agreed on how to fix surfaces. So just go ahead and plug in ANGLE or another abstraction layer you want. Also, TKG I think you should continue with your Mark the Penguin games, those are honestly the best I've seen from you, and I think they have more than potential. The graphics, specifically the sprites are also really good.

I think it was Leonardo da Vinci who once said something along the lines of "If you build the robots, they will make games." or something to that effect.
