The game is now complete and ready to download for Windows and Linux. I also added a better description. Macintosh, Android, and OUYA coming soon! :D

This might just be because it's late, but I'm having trouble running the game on Linux. The "Flippy Bored Multiplayer HD" file appears to be a shared object file (DLL), and there is nothing in the "assets" folder that looks launch-able.

(Or is there something meta here that I am missing? :P )

Right click -> Properties -> Permissions -> check "allow to run as application" it's built for Ubuntu but I don't have the kind of time to check all the popular distro's that's a lot of work. Removing the spaces in it's path/filename and running the game file from the terminal will show you the *.so libs which may be missing in your distro.

Well the first thing I'd like to mention is that this is not your average shitty bird clone. Anyway this looks like a good spinoff of Mark the Penguin, but TKG the first level is just too damn hard for me it's the constrained view that I can't even pass the first block.

I think it was Leonardo da Vinci who once said something along the lines of "If you build the robots, they will make games." or something to that effect.

Excellent! Now it works.
You might want to package it as a .tgz so that the executable permission is preserved (.zip won't do that). Otherwise, great job!

Thank you Robert! The super zoomed viewport is part of the challenge. Wouldn't you have limited vision if you were flipping repeatedly? That and this is meant to be hard like flappy bird. It's easier if you take note of the level layout, that's why you have so many lives, it's in part a memory game because the levels aren't randomly generated. Thanks for playing! I can still change it without much hassel, but it can get too easy really quick.

Thank you for trying it sorlok_reaves! What flavor of Linux are you running? Thank you for the tip! Though zip can work too if you check that in the properties manually before you zip it. I created the file directly from GMStudio's IDE which means it was "built" on Windows so I can't fix this problem until after I do this stoff on my Ubuntu machine.

Finally I got past the first level and then died, this is the hardest mother I've ever played.

I agree my vision would be pretty blurry if I was shitting repeatedly.

The latest Linux Mint.

Ah, so it's a GM-windows thing. Makes sense.
