Josh is probably a little busy to notice this so I'll just take this.
currently, the EDC is in the process of what's known as "being completely deconstructed, chewed, digested, eliminated, and then redesigned"
except not really. there are some known issues with the EDC that i'm trying to make the time to work on, but this is a known problem.
if you come across any other issues on the site that you would like for the dev team to get traction on, please be sure to either see if that issue has been submitted via the tracker, and if not, well, don't be afraid to post a new issue. http://enigma-dev.org/tracker/?new is your friend <3

Neither could I! But then I discovered the one truth that I had been missing for so long, the truth that would allow me to stretch my very last dollar as long as possible. The truth was what set me free, the truth was what allowed me to live my life the way I needed to. The truth is there waiting for you too, you know, if you take the time to look for it. There is no truth. This is all a game of deceit. There are only lies. But the truth is waiting to set you free. The truth is sitting there in a god damn director's chair, telling life that this and that is how that and this should be functioning; antimetabole and chiasmus are the methods that are exploited, often times. Now, in order to see the truth, you must be willing to perceive the truth.
by the way the truth is stop spending so much fucking money js

it's a pleasure to know that many folks have no literary endowment in the sense of endowing with literary...ness.

It's cool what you can achieve if you get drunk enough.

and i'm your local sysadmin, set here to be responsible or whatever for issues on the server.
and then sometimes being completely worthless with solving them o wait never mind.
but the point is, I have a feeling that some people here may not know me possibly? That and if there's ever any issues you have with the site, feel free to direct them to Josh or Ism so I don't have to deal with them until they tell me about it. Or, actually, you can just tell me. Directly. I don't bite. Not with teeth at least.

Announcements / Re: Email server fixed
« on: April 07, 2012, 04:20:22 pm »I also think it should be centered. You will be able to see it just fine. The text color is either identical or very close to the link color, and you can see them just fine as well. It doesn't work well with resizing though. On my screen (1280 wide) the ticker is on top of the user info bit. If you resize the window then it also goes out of the page.
edit: Also, why the hell we even need that. It will only show old depressing news anyway. For example, the LGM update it boasts about right now is 2 months old. It would just give the right (sadly) impression that nothing is really happening. The date it gives is wrong though (as it shows April 4, not Feb 19).
Gary reporting finally and actually having some amount of action on this forum.
Problem with the layout is mostly because I didn't bother to make it fluid at all, it's just a feature to try out for now. And, most features that you add to services aren't something that are needed; it's something that is either transformative/practical, or in the very least, novel. And, if you ask me, I'd say it's at least somewhat novel, and rather practical. The reason it's showing as an old one is because I had Ism send through a test commit, which probably just resulted in sending the test commit via github instead of an actual one, and the date on it is determined by when the git commit hook is called. So, the date on it may be wrong but it won't be wrong AS SOON AS SOMEONE MAKES ANOTHER COMMIT.
Though: " IsmAvatar authored 2 days ago"
hm. two days ago seems to be the 5th. Either way, it doesn't really matter. If it's really determined to be that noisome, then I can easily remove it.
