General ENIGMA / Re: Changing Screen Resolution

Thanks! If anyone is willing to work with me on this I'd love to make a java, flash, and a html5 target. I'll post a topic about this to give more details.

Just voted in favor for the freaking featured feline :)

Also, I know absolutely nothing about git, but I'll definitely look into this whenever I have some extra spare time. :)

Edit: that's odd, I tried both the global game settings and the display_set_size() function and it didn't work when I test run. Does this mean I have to compile it in order to see this in action? I can't because for whatever reason it always gives me an error when I try to do that. So I just take the temp file during a test run and change the extension to exe.

General ENIGMA / Changing Screen Resolution

 :smileycat: gotta love that cat...

Anyway, enigma should really have a built in means to change the screen resolution.

But for now, you guys can use this dll: http://sandbox.yoyogames.com/games/215052-set-display-resolution-dll

To make it easier to implement in enigma itself, I included the CodeBlocks/C++ source.

Enjoy.

YoYoGames can't do that. I was planning on using this. Just like everything else they don't like shared across the internet related to their dum product. Enigma is way better, at least for me, because my biggest priority for publishing and selling is for desktop games. Otherwise, I'd use GMS. But still  don't get why they think they can just ignore the fact they can just do anything they want and get away with it even though I'm pretty sure it isn't legal.

Before I go on another rant on how much I don't like YYG, shutting up...

Issues Help Desk / How do I Change the MinGW Directory?
« on: January 28, 2013, 02:13:32 pm »
I have a limited, non administrative account, which gives me zero access to run enigma. "Access Denied: C:\Windows\"
I'm not sure but I feel that if I cpould somehow edit the default directory that ENIGMA expects to fid MinGW and change it from C:\Windows to my desktop directory, which is where it is located will then allow me to run enigma properly. How do I do this?

Thanks in advance!
