I decided this night to introduce myself (just a little), and my main project. Let's go !

INTRODUCING MYSELF :
Hi. I'm BreakDown` (Lucas in the real life).
Why "Breakdown" ? 'Cause I'm often depressive, but well... It's not really important for you.
I'm french and I was born in the same country in the city of Grenoble.
I discovered GM since so many years and Enigma just few weeks ago.
My job ? Wait I'm just a student in the Safety of Goods and Persons (I think it can be said like this).
A last thing, I'm french and english isn't at all my native language, so please keep in mind I couldn't understand some difficult things... So sorry if I'm wrong in some of my replies.
SPACE SIM :
(not the final name, don't have any idea for the moment...)
Space Sim is a simulation game on PC who allows you to take control of a space ship.
In year 2077, a massive nuclear catastrophe has caused the Earth's destruction, but you manage to go faraway with your spaceship. Now you need to survive in the universe with collecting some stuffs (like minerals, food, ressources, etc...) and be part of the giant economic system of Space Sim !

[:: User Interface ::] <<<<
The User Interface is all the available information in the screen when you are in game.
In Space Sim, you will have many things like the Spaceship’s Health & Weapons, the amount of money you have, a mini-map with compass, and other things like this.
(( I will add later an experimental drawing of the UI and will detail this section ))

[:: Mining ::] <<<<
Player will randomly meet asteroids which will keep moving slowly (or not, random speed). It will be possible to mine them. The asteroid is commonly composed from 1 to 3 ores greater or lesser rare. The ores rarity will affect the duration of mining. During the mining process, the player must follow the asteroid or the mining will stop.
(Later, it will be possible to select which ore the player want to mine in priority, like 80 or 90%).
To mine an asteroid, player needs to click on the “Action” button and click in the asteroid, then click in the “Mine” button. (as it’s explained in the “User Interface” spoiler)

[:: Trading ::] <<<<
The economy is the main idea of this simulation game. Player will establish his economy by trading with planets, Republic haggles and spatial bases.
Each of them has her own commercial policy and sale / purchase prices slightly between them compared with The Spark (the spatial government). Player will have to follow the economic variations of each resource which he/she transports.

[:: Federal / Pirates territories ::] <<<<
These territories are the uncountable planets, Republic Haggles and military base the player can found in the universe of Space Sim.
Space area near a populated zone (from 0km to 70.000km) belongs to systematically, so the player shouldn’t shoot in this area (without permission) on pain of response by the local authorities.
To land in a planet or base, player will have to ask permission with open the zone “Action” menu then click on “Request Landing”, otherwise if the player try to land without permission, he will be shot by the local authorities (player may respond but the authorities will be really powerful).

[:: Factions & Territorial reputation ::] <<<<
The starting reputation will by neutral with each faction, except the Pirates’ faction: the reputation will be a little lower.
Your reputation with a faction will be decreased if you shoot in a territory belonging to this faction, if you land in a territory without permission and if you kill the local authorities.
On the opposite, your reputation with a faction will be increased if you trade with it, if you save it from a mercenary assault and if you managed to corrupt the local authorities (with a certain amount).
If you reach a reputation equals to -80, you will be automatically banned from landing or enter in the territory (or you will be shot again and again…).
The trading with the pirates' faction is very lucrative but will result in long-term strong decline in reputation with the other factions.

[:: Farming / Harvest ::] <<<<
The survival of the player depends on the management of its hunger, thirst and life point.
It will be possible to harvest on uninhabited planets some resources like meats, fruits, “Suspicious herbs” (for medical kits) or Cosmic Potatoes (to cook Cosmic Food).
Harvesting works the same way as mining, but takes time according the resource rarity and the planet gravity (lower is the gravity, slower will be the harvest because low gravity causes slowness in movements).
Resources from harvesting will be used :
• To trading with Republic Haggles (only)
• To cooking dishes.

[:: Cooking / Crafting ::] <<<<
The crafting will allows you to create some necessary objects for your survival like foods, drinks or medical kits.
Crafting stations can be found in some planets / bases (not all !) : use them by open the “Action” menu and select “Craft something”.

[:: Spaceship’s fuel ::] <<<<
It’s essential to keep your spaceship full of fuel and in good condition at risk of dying or having a call to the Spark’s helpdesk (that costs more than you think).
There are three types of fuel in Space Sim :
• Slow flight : Xenon (a gas which propels through nuclear fission)
• Fast flight : Plutonium (a heavy metal that propels through nuclear macro explosions)
• Hyper Jump : Antimatter (an antiparticle so mysterious, do not play with it…)
Slow flight will allows you to maneuvering slowly your spaceship (use it for landing or to follow an asteroid).
Fast flight will allow you to travel properly in space with a good speed (to travel between two planets).
Hyper Jump is a rare technology: you will be able to jump in the hyperspace and teleport to a location of your choice. (Use it with caution…).

[:: Spaceship’s maintenance ::] <<<<
The spaceship’s maintenance concerns its weapons and its health.
Health is visible in the UI : when the bar turns orange, the spaceship can be difficult to manage. But when it turns red, the spaceship threatens to explose !
To maintain your spaceship in good condition, you have to simply landing in a inhabited territory (planets, bases) and use the “Action” menu in your spaceship and select “Maintenance”. According damage of your spaceship, the territory will deduct you an amount.
(( Later it will be possible to buy upgrades for your spaceship ! ))
If your spaceship becomes out of control (red bar), you can have a call to the Spark’s helpdesk : caution, it costs a big amount !
