ego waffle, I would've done rated E for everyone but they didn't have that option. I changed it to 12+ since you are so concerned. :P

You misread a good amount of what I was saying. I know AVI supports compression, it supports quite a variety of codecs. If you still want to discuss this let's do it in PM's, this topic is about my game.

if you want the file to stay small and everything will be at least semi-HD, making the propeller a different sprite for each plane, could help a bit. Anything that removes the need for duplicate data can always be a help. Just depennds how much help it is and how badly you care about it. This is some really nice artwork, btw. you don't cease to surprise me. :D Really talented artist.

Edit

also make the propellers faster they look slow-mo which I'm sure was intentional, just don't keep it that way in the actual game!

I'm selling my music on the GameMaker Marketplace now, since I'm too scared to do it anywhere else, I feel like such an amateur musician.

He thinks he owns the place even though not only does he not work for YYG and they don't need or want his "help" but he hasn't made a single game in his life. He has no business being a member of any game creation or programming site, let alone he seems to specifically choose the GMC as his primary spamming grounds. Unless he can actually complete or publicise a single demo (or at least 1 tiny screenshot) of his imaginary work he has no right acting like a police, and certainly no rights to be an actual member. He doesn't actually do anything but talk. A mouth with legs. No actual doing. Just mouthing for no apparent reason. Way too much time on his hands, yes daz he has nothing better to do.

Well I just checked an HTML file and realized it's been quite a while since I initially added cursor changing, and turns it it was done in a CSS style and not in JavaScript. HTML5 does support this according to w3schools. It's something jacked up with the QtWebKit. Oh well. What I have is close enough, thank you edsquare for the help! Though this issue isn't fixed I don't want to eat up more of your time. :D

Cheers.

In other words : "I'm not gonna fix it ok? stop bugging me!"  :D

Looks like you took a quote directly from the YYG's handbook :P  :D
I am the great and mighty poo and I am going to throw my shit on you

@daz this game is an all-out parody. The genre is known for having frustratingly difficult and confusing navigation. If you're a major fan of classics like 'Myst' and 'Riven' by Cyan Inc or 'The Filmmaker' by Christopher Brendel you'd feel right at home.

For a small pinch of what I've witnessed look at his profile feed - http://gmc.yoyogames.com/index.php?app=members&module=profile&section=status&type=memberall&member_id=77112&st=0

Slammin Sam and roytheshort obviously recognize he likes to argue even long after all tensions have died down, he's insulting and presents himself as a common trouble maker for no existent reason to name. Very impulsive and stubborn. I can easily find more but I won't waste my time, this I actually found by accident. Yeah most of his feed is old news, but it sums it up pretty good and it all applies to the present as he's still actively making these same mistakes.

Yeah, I really like being able to customize window borders and control appearances if I ever want to, makes it nice. I agree if more big companies like Adobe cared enough to port all their best software to Linux, I wouldn't use windows for anything other than Windows game ports. If GMS's IDE ran on Linux along with everything else I need I'd be a full-time Linux user.

I now have two machines all to myself, one running Windows 7 and the other running Ubuntu 14.0. I'm beginning to really love Linux. Windows and Mac take like 8 minutes or more to boot, and about 4 to shut down. Ubuntu boots and shuts down in less than a minute. I also really like the taskbar. When you have like ten huge windows open every bit of screen area counts, especially if you need to see multiple of those windows simultaneously. The new Ubuntu taskbar auto-hides when not in use which really helps me take advantage of every pixel to clutter. I love how Qt is shipped with OS, which leaves zero need to redistribute tons of dll's like you have to for Windows and Mac Qt apps.

What do you like about Linux? :D

Thank you so much edsquare! But while normally that would work, I'm not changing the cursor with Qt C++, it's a Qt HTML5 container application, so all cursor changing is being done in JavaScript based on the mouseover event on a clickable hotspot. I recreated the project as a duplicate to check what options I have for creating a new project, there was a check box labeled "Enable touch optimized navigation" which seemed to disable the right click menu, which gives a more native feel, good, and it enabled the JavaScript cursor changing to work partially how it should, great. But it's not changed by the mouseover event, it's only triggered after a click. To be honest I don't know what the purpose of that "Enable touch optimized navigation" check box is even used for if it can't set the cursor correctly. :'( oh poo
