This list contains both rules and guidelines interspersed. It is up to your common sense to decide what is what.

  • Do not spam
  • No 18+ content
  • No trolling
  • No racism
  • No flaming
  • No personal attacks
  • These forums are not for attacking people you have met in real life/on the internet
  • Do not post content that may or will harm a user's devices/computer/data/hardware
  • Try not to swear excessively
  • Please spell properly and use grammar properly
  • Images should be thumbnailed if their height and/or width are larger than 800 pixels
  • Discussing how-tos in relation to warez or linking to it is not allowed
  • Do not bump old topics without good reason
  • Replying to bumps contributes further to the bump, please refrain from doing so
  • Advertising your own websites is only allowed in your signature
  • Referral links are not allowed, unless you place them together with the same link without the referral, and indicate which is which
  • Use descriptive topic titles. "HELP!!!!!!" is not a descriptive topic title.
  • Do not post for the sake of it; this means posts such as "first!"
  • Abuse of system resources such as the report button will cause you to be banned

Please note that this list are subject to change at any time. When this list is modified, a post will be created detailing what has been changed from before.

Punishment is to be given at the moderation team's discretion. Moderators that break the rules will have their privileges taken away for a length of time or permanently and may be accompanied with a ban, depending on the severity of their rule breaking.

We currently have no method of taking ban appeals, but there is an intention to have such a process.

We can enforce the rules, but react only so quickly. We are not liable for your experience in this forum; enter and participate at your own risk. All opinions and comments posted to this website are owned by their respective owners, NOT by the ENIGMA Team. The ENIGMA Team will not be held responsible for any comments or opinions posted by anyone on this website. Illegal content will be dealt with, however the ENIGMA Team makes no guarantees that all of such content will be removed. If such content is found, please notify one of the ENIGMA Team promptly and the issue will be dealt with.

  • Don't spam or post for the sake of it, eg. posts such as "first!"
  • Don't post/link pornographic/adult material and content that encourages the breaking/violation of any state/federal/international laws
  • Don't post/link to virus/malware/trojan or other warez/content that could potentially harm anothers devices/computer/data/hardware
  • Stay on topic, it is disrespectful to hijack topics and we have an off topic forum for such discussion
  • Be respectful of others, personal matters are to resolved outside of the forum board, racism isn’t tolerated
  • Only bump old topics with proper reasoning, double bumping is not allowed
  • Use descriptive topic titles, eg. "HELP!!!!!!" is a bad title
  • Abuse of the website and its content and features will result in punishment, eg. spamming the report button
  • Be concise, use proper grammar and spelling to best convey your statements well, swearing doesn’t help so limit the use of such vocabularly
  • Advertising your own websites is only allowed in your signature or relevant places, eg. your games WIP topic
  • Limit the images in your posts not by count but by size and the bandwidth required to load your topic, if administrators feel it's too much, they will inform you
These regulations are in effect throughout the entire website, exercise good judgement where possible. This is not a full disclosure, these regulations are subject to change at any time without notice and are only a partial terms of service. Excessive and blatant violation of these rules may warrant your account being terminated indefinitely without notice or result in punishment given at administrators discretion. They themselves are subject to the same regulations, if they break the rules they will have their privileges revoked and possibly banned, depending on the severity of their actions. We currently have no method of taking ban appeals, but there is an intention to have such a process.

We can enforce the rules, but react only as quickly as humanly possible. We are not liable for your experience in this forum; enter and participate at your own risk. Illegal content will be dealt with, however the ENIGMA Team makes no guarantees that all of such content will be removed. Please notify the ENIGMA Team or an administrator promptly of any such content found and it will be dealt with.

I think it was Leonardo da Vinci who once said something along the lines of "If you build the robots, they will make games." or something to that effect.
