It was brought to my attention just this morning that ENIGMA is ranking for consideration on r/coderaid, meaning a possible influx of developers (and of the competent variety, no less!) working on ENIGMA.
The page on the matter, given to me by Enkiv2 (I presume; Freenode nick "Enki-]["), is here (http://www.reddit.com/r/coderaid/comments/e4bui/project_suggestion_enigma_game_maker_foss_clone/). (Full link http://www.reddit.com/r/coderaid/comments/e4bui/project_suggestion_enigma_game_maker_foss_clone/).
So, if you have an account there, and feel ENIGMA could use a few more helping hands, feel free to vote.
I'm going to write some introductory pages to the documentation for people who really don't know what the project is all about (I love the description justyellowboy gave, but I need to convey what the project looks like on the inside).
I'll be writing. Peace.

Wait, what? Random developers speeding up the progress of ENIGMA? Yes, yes, yes!
But what exactly is reddit about?
*reads*
Oh, something like Digg. Why post about EN-- oh yeah, to make it popular by digging for it. Good idea. Perhaps you should post it at more sites than just reddit.
-
I didn't post that. Which is why it was news to me this morning.
-
Reddit is a bit different than digg. There's a few subreddits which go beyond the upvote/downvote. Coderaid was recently spawned more as a forum
-
The fact that there isn't a lauchpad reminds me of something. If someone with the proper permissions could edit the download page to link to a topic that talks about obtaining ENIGMA (via SVN on Windows and my Linux repos), it would probably be a good idea.

We have a Wiki now.

There are some jerks modding down the topic. Guess why Digg eliminated that feature.

What is the wiki page supposed to have(in the future)?

How much use would such a coder raid actually be?

What I'm saying is how much will they actually achieve in just a 24-hour bug raid? I can see how it would be rather beneficial for them just working on a game project or something; but not really with Enigma, it will take them 24-hours just to get to grips with it.
-
I think they've accounted for that already, and they intend to spend more than 24 hours with the project - at first familiarizing themselves with it. The 24 hours will be how long they actively contribute code/bugfixes/etc.
-
I'm pretty much sick of working on the Wiki. Someone else do it, damn it.
I have better things to waste time and talent on.
:P

Back to work, slave.

Sooner or later you'll have to document the project, right?
BTW add a link to the wiki on the top of the site when you are finished.
-
considering Ive contributed next to nothing to this project, I could possible help out with documentation.
ill idle IRC during the early hours of the southern hemisphere morning for instructions.
