Off-Topic / Re: Unity Dash Being Rewritten In QT/QML

that second article had two of the same auto-starting video ads (with audio) on the page. As soon as I open the page, I get two voices going. I stop the first ad and the second one's still going.

From my experience, HDD or SSD doesn't matter when it comes to ubuntu. You're skimming 5 seconds. The rest of the time is the stupid motherboard and graphics card sitting there for 20 seconds pondering whether it has a floppy drive or not.

If my womb works at the same time-frame as me, I'd imagine a 9 months gestation period would only be a couple months in real-world time. But then the question becomes, how do you impregnate a person who only exists in virtual form?

On the other hand, I've always preferred LGM be called directly by name rather than by wildcard, but alas, butting heads with the writer of ENIGMA.exe, I won't win unless I write it myself.

Anyway, thanks for letting us know. We should have it fixed sometime soon. In the meantime, running LGM directly is a valid solution, provided you have already run ENIGMA.exe successfully once in the past.

I'm posting because I thought this may be useful. Is it? Is there a specific place to put this stuff?
I think we already know about most of this stuff, but it's nice to be reminded periodically, just to make sure we're not missing anything. Really, this information probably already exists on the wiki somewhere, or if not, it should.
Like josh said, give him a couple days, because he's in the middle of deconstructing and reconstructing the parser right now and needs to focus on it - and then he'll get back to you and make sure everything's documented on the wiki or already fixed in the new parser or whatever.

I was joking. I was quoting it, in response to the "profane name" gesture, to show that that is the reason why we can't do that (yes, I used "that" 3 times).

Ok, give me a way to change my username. Actually, it should be an option for all.

All open issues have been ported. Closed issues can still be viewed on the old tracker via the above link.

We've also added an "Assignee" field to the issue list, so you can see who it's assigned to (if it's assigned).

I was mistaken. I just missed a somewhat hidden link. I can change your username as well, however your password will also need to be reset.

Harri: forthevin has a point. I forgot about that.

As for your name change, I can change your display name, but I cannot change your login username (you'd need to create a new account for that).

Odd. That doesn't make a lick of sense. That line of code couldn't possibly be null without throwing a different error first...

A few notes regarding the bug tracker:

1) When creating a new issue, "labels" will currently do nothing. This is something we're still working on - we either need to set up some pre-defined labels, or else write an API to create new labels when you label something that hasn't been seen before.

2) While we are still porting over issues, or for archival/historical purposes, you may view the old tracker from the following url:
http://enigma-dev.org/tracker-old/index.php?status=resolved

Please do not attempt to create any new tickets using the old tracker or we will rape you.
