11th plague:
The Author field under "API" is the name of the person that wrote the specific system you're trying to use, in case you need to contact them (especially if it's third-party). It's not added to the game or anything.
@11th plague, oh yessss as Josh said they are not meant to work they are just the columns XD I am thinking of removing those or replacing them with another control.

General ENIGMA / LateralGM and Plugin Packages
« on: June 05, 2013, 07:40:07 am »
I want to propose that we set up the various installers and other things to automatically retrieve both the latest plugin and LGM jar files from a single uniform location. I am the only one who is not lazy enough to keep them updated, and it is getting to much for me to repackage the WinPatch and the latest LGM release as well as the Windows installer, and I am not even able to update the python package, and it is rather annoying for people to keep installing with older versions instead of the latest jar file release. It would not be such a problem if my internet would stop being KIA after a week, but 55mb's is wayyyyy too much for me to keep having to upload just over minor fixes to the jar file. This is why I would like a single unform package retreival system wherein I simply have to update ONLY the single jars, we could do it through repositories etc vs having them hosted on someone's dropbox. I haven't updated the Windows installer LGM since my first buggy release of the new jar :(

#1 and #2 are conradictions
#3 is completely obsurd, I'd say about %40 of games or even a lot more, I am lowballing it, require a mouse especially on flash games
#4 you should have probably directed it at josh and not me, because I generally do not care as long as nothing breaks, therefore I ignore about %90 of everything you guys say
#5 no, don't call it progress, you fuck up progress by forcing us to drop anything were doing and fix whatever it is you wan't us to fix
#6 then don't break shit, it is not that fucking hard

Oh yes, I complete forgot to post about this, forthevin somebody gave me a great idea in the IRC. They told us to compile a series of "unit tests" so basically we make a mini demo that demonstrates that everything works, paths, graphics, physics, collision systems, kind of a lot like you see with the little demos I program. Make a broad series of them covering everything and use them for ensuring there are no regressions during mergals.

Now polygonz, your argument is good, but it just does not work for what you did with just breaking the mouse code. That is not progress, you could have just left it be the slow implementation on other platforms and then filed an issue on the tracker for one of the platforms maintainers to address. Just removing obsolete code is not progress, can you just imagine if Ubuntu or Linux distros or other open source software did this? My god, it's a disasterous idea, and you seriously need to stop thinking that way. Your mindset and the way you approach this is everything wrong with open source, and why every freaking Ubuntu update has to break something.

Im gone stop responding to you because you are pretty much arguing semantics.

Edit: Just to make you happy polygonz I readded add/replace/duplicate under Modify if you right click the events, download the new jar problem solved. I also added the preference to override and make event panel docked again, now tell Ism to fix the preference overriding.

@Gra, yah for some reason the internal Java preferences keep overriding it I will have to look at it later, you could download Eclipse Java IDE and build the jar file with it set in the internal preferences gra. :P

@11th Plague, I have no idea what you mean.

@Deus ya double clicking works fine on both OS's for me too

I refuse to use branches because I don't break shit, I bridged all the Windowing and Graphics systems without any problems on any platforms. And I don't refuse to use branches I refuse to be patient with merging my branches, I like using the branch because it ensures people don't come along and fuck up what I am working on, and I like to commit several times while working to do things in steps and don't like to merge till I am ready.

In his defense he did tell us, I am the only one who pays attention half the time otherwise I wouldn't have suggested it was him who broke it only for you guys to discover it was him who broke it.

Hey I am not the one who won't shut up about it, other people bitching its broke, I only mentioned its not broke for me too. And second of all, your rant really isn't an announcement, you give me a guff about posting stuff here I shouldn't be, both you and poly, when you post tons of crap here that shouldn't be.

Oh my goodness I think you just stumbled across the LGM bug me and cheeseboy had encountered, this might be a GMK bug or just a bug in LGM's room editor :P

And yes those should not be negative.

No once we work it out we will let you select your build directory on a per project basis I might even get to it myself in this release. And hey no problem that was cheeseboys request that I add that button, but also I need to take the time to investigate why the window position does not save on close for Windows, it is working fine for Linux.
