I see why, it's not the function it's how our website is set up.
I just put the following into the create event of an Object.

Code: (EDL) [Select]
show_message(net_http("google.com",""));
It worked and produced the following.1728

Jimmy_D, there is an action library maker in the Third Party subforum.
http://enigma-dev.org/forums/index.php?topic=1517.msg14952#msg14952
And LateralGM supports GM user made drag and drop action libraries. So?? Yeah we already have 3D drag and drop by virtue of GM having one.

http://gmc.yoyogames.com/index.php?showtopic=286088
In fact, look at that, hey we have several!

Developing ENIGMA / Re: JavaFX
« on: February 15, 2014, 11:17:43 am »Quote
All talk little to no action.I have already released the first beta, which did not introduce any new bugs, and has actually allowed two people to now use LGM where they couldn't before a result of type safety. The reason for delaying JavaFX implementation, is because not everyone has it yet, and the point is to avoid people not being able to run the program.

Besides where the fuck did you get this highly retarded idea to use Java for lateralGM anyway? You clearly have no idea what you're talking about. Eclipse is Java, and it's one of the best and lightest IDE's out there, I'd say even better than CodeBlocks.

I forget how it works, I haven't messed with that networking system in forever
Look at the code and see what Berkeley Sockets functions they call.
https://github.com/enigma-dev/enigma-dev/blob/master/ENIGMAsystem/SHELL/Networking_Systems/BerkeleySockets/BSbrowser.cpp#L126
Looks like the code is similar to what you originally tried.

Issues Help Desk / Re: Is there any way of picking the C++ code before it is passed to the compiler
« on: February 15, 2014, 11:02:43 am »
Jimmy, I've warned you several times already about hijacking peoples topics, you're not only being rude to people not even affiliated with the project, you're filling the forums with spam. You've had your chance to make a topic of your own already, and you did, so you can either start obeying the forum rules, or leave, simple as that.

Hello Asu, that system was originally written by IsmAvatar. I just ported it to ENIGMA.
The error codes are in a text file in the system source.

I see what you mean, but the dispute isn't really about the developers, I have no problem with them or their game. The discussion is regarding YYG's actual shadyness and the whole subject

I have to say I still agree with TKG more, they do that shit on purpose, they also didn't give a shit when this one dude complained to them on Twitter that the IDE builds for Mac but don't run on it. It'd be different if they were like Unity3D and not only said they had console ports, but you know, actually fucking had console ports.

ENIGMA does not run on the .NET framework, any non-retarded software developer with two sense, wouldn't fucking go near it.
