Get the latest java 6 it seems yu are using an unofficial java compiler based on GCJ, don't use it, it won't recognise many classes.
try to find the latest JRE for your dist of linux.

Look you need an auto update system, so that users don't have to download patches normally, the program checks if updates are available and it asks if the user want to update. This means you can update as much as you want without worrying about getting everyone to manually update.
This is something that I think is best done in java, it can update both lgm and enigma all you would have to do is zip the files that have changed and when java unzis it would replace the files.
Since this is something I have already added to g-creator it is something I could add fairly quickly. Or you could wait for Ism to add it. I just think it would be a really good idea as you could keep us more up to date. So as soon as you have the collision event we have the collision event etc.

Run the .bat file in the same directory as the jar and rename it back.

Overwrite your old enigma folder with this one and it works perfectly!

Here is the 8-8-08(r3) release:
http://g-java.com/enigma/TGMG_NATIVE_LateralGM-8-8.zip
Source is included, but I only copy and pasted a few lines of code into the main method in LGM. This is not an official release of LGM at all.
Not everything looks native yet but it feels alot more native like.

Guys, you don't like it because it is swing with the default theme which is not native. You can switch it to native very easily. Just look at netbeans or g-creator they are both made in java but look native.
If r3 is released and it still has the default theme i can change it to make it the native interface if you want (Beauty of GPL), it will look and feel just like GM.
