Hey guys,
Just thought I'd post some screenies of what I have done in the past year or so, when those odd times of inspriation kick in.
From oldest to newest.
First real attempt at using GM:S for the halloween jam.
Had GM:S for about 3 weeks at this stage.

Testing out my video player extension
Yes, the one that I didn't steal from ENIGMA. IIRC this was ~6 months before ENIGMA had video. Testing dynamic 2D shadows here too.

3D render replacement for GM:S
First renders with my (still) unreleased 3D renderer for GM:S (based on Ogre).

3D getting more advance a few days later
Starting to play with terrain.

More advanced
As advanced as I got before getting bored and shelving the idea for the moment. Around 6 lines of GML to generate the scene. Multiple textures, bump mapping, auto shadow prebake, and dynamic shadows. etc. Animated sky, raycasting, walking on terrain, with full camera movement, 8x FSAA, and ~2,000,000 polys at ~180 FPS.

Current WIP project
Early screenie of what I am working on at the moment. Five shaders in play. Some visibly apparent, some not. One shader fixes as GM:S bug that was killing the look of the scene.

Hope you like :)

Speechless......:D
The video one is amazing, opens lots of doors for highly interactive game developing.
As to the other stuff, impressive I can only imagine the type of games you'd make, would put to shame a lot of current game developers......When I see some of the stuff winning competition and potential you have, you could easily make the top.
though actually making full games is the harder part as TIME is required.

The harder part? You mean the hardest! LOL :)

It looks very impressive ! :o :) I hope one day we will able to play one of your game.

Very beautiful. (Y)

I'm amazed at how crisp the graphics are in the last screenshot with all the silhouettes. Is that the result of using shaders? Or are you using really high-def graphics? Or something else?

Something else :)
That is 100% vector graphics. Gives me the ability to zoom right in and right out with no loss.
One of the shader passes is there to handle a GM:S bug where the wireframe gets shown on the edges of the vectors (which would normally make it look utter rubbish). Thanks YYG for another bug - LOL.
That whole scene is dedicated to getting the camera working correctly. It is gonna get better looking too, I promise you that :)

Lonewolff, can I rub your lamp? This artwork is AMAZING! ;D

I will, gladly, but only if some genie will cum out.
BTW your last screenshot has a boner. I'm so aroused. :D

I should stroke your lamp next.

TKG I am going to have to ask you to be a little more polite to the OP, please stay on topic or go back to China town (West Virgin). (Y)
