vertex_format_add_position_3d()

Description

Adds a 3D position attribute (x, y, z) to the current vertex buffer format being declared. This is equivalent to passing type vertex_type_float3 and usage vertex_usage_position to vertex_format_add_custom.

Parameters

Parameter Description
none This function has no parameters.

Return Values

void: This function does not return anything.

Example Call

// demonstrates beginning and ending a new vertex format with 3d position and normal attributes
vertex_format_begin();
vertex_format_add_position_3d();
vertex_format_add_normal();
vf_position3d_normal = vertex_format_end();
