Masters... I tried to run my first game built in enigma....

look at this error

+++++Make completed successfully.++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Failed to write resources to compiler-specified file, ``. Write permissions to valid path?
Built to C:/Users/Fred/AppData/Local/Temp/egm2213968310952470959.tmp
mingw32-make[1]: Leaving directory `c:/Program Files (x86)/ENIGMA-R4-r681-win/ENIGMAsystem/SHELL'

Is that write permissions issues in the folder  C:/Users/Fred/AppData/Local/Temp/ ?

Please update to r710.

If you are using the trunk (rather than stable/testing):
* Please also do not update to a later revision past r710 until stated otherwise.
* If you have accidentally updated past r710 (e.g. to latest revision), please revert to r710.

If you used the installer, it should have automatically updated, and will continue to automatically update as new versions arrive.
To confirm what revision you are running, look at the terminal that should automatically pop up when you run the exe. Look for a line near the very top that says something like:

01_move.lgl 02_main1.lgl 03_main2.lgl 04_control.lgl
 05_score.lgl 06_extra.lgl 07_draw.lgl
ENIGMA r###

It will probably say r710 or later. This is fine (as you are using 'stable'). If it is lower than 710, then the updater's broken, which is my problem.

Does this problem effect an empty game or a game with 1 room?
If not, have you tried the Click the Clown example? http://enigma-dev.org/forums/index.php?topic=488.0

Ism, the version is r743.

I tried a single room game the first time.

Now, I tried add another room, but no success.

Also tried your catch the clown example. No success either.

Estranged is the error message because my user is local admin and I run Enigma as administrator (right clicking).

My O.S. is a Windows 7 amd64.

Any hope for me ?

Thanks for the attention.

At this point I'm going to have to pass this problem off to Josh and the other guys, because I'm out of ideas and they know a lot more about ENIGMA than I do. You might try joining the irc, especially while Josh is on, because you can get faster help that way.

You are using the repo marked "Stable," right, Fred?

Josh thinks you might be able to fix it by following these steps:
1) Copy ENIGMA-R4-r681-win/CompilerSource/stupidity-buffer/ENIGMA.exe to ENIGMA-R4-r681-win/ENIGMA.exe, overwriting any existing versions.
2) Delete ENIGMA-R4-r681-win/Compilers/LinuxWindows/gcc.ey
3) Run ENIGMA.exe and try your game again.

Hi people,

thanks again for the attention...

well, I did exactly as ISM described....

When I started again Enigma, it told me there were new libraries to update..... I choose "NO" and try to run the project again - Same Error.

Then I closed and started again...

This (second) time I choose "YES". Then tried to run again and got the same error...

Sorry about that, I did some stupid copy-pasting.
Please delete:
ENIGMA-R4-r681-win/Compilers/Windows/gcc.ey
And rerun. It will try to configure some things, and a new version of the file will be regenerated. If that doesn't work, please paste the contents of gcc.ey here.
