[developer confirmation required]

[edit] [purge] Template documentation

Marks a segment for developer review.

Usage

{{Developer confirm}}

Vyes for developer confirmation[developer confirmation required].

{{Developer confirm|5}}

Shows confirmation from five developers[developer confirmations: 5].

Example

  1. This template was implemented when I was denoting what happens to ENIGMA if you try to use Code::Blocks' compiler for ENIGMA's compilation sequence. I personally studied the behavior and came to the conclusion that the space in "Program Files" from the location of MinGW Make must be causing it to fail to execute other toolchain executables. Since I am not positive of this, I used this tag to denote that the behavior needs confirmed, passing "1" as the first parameter to indicate that only one developer (myself) actually believes that to be the cause.
  2. Another use case would be a user documenting a function but being unsure about a specific case. One option for this is the {{Nonfactual}} tag, but more elegantly, that user can say {{developer confirm}} and have his assertion followed by a plea for confirmation from a more informed party (The bullshit tag is more for large segments of complete guesswork or form-fitted nonsense).
